Jelle van der Ven

Jelle obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Law and his Master’s degree in Private Law from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. During and after his studies, he gained experience as a working student and student trainee at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek and Clifford Chance. He subsequently completed the Professional Training Programme for Lawyers (Beroepsopleiding Advocaten) of the Amsterdam Bar Association.

Specialisation

From 2022 to 2026, Jelle worked as a lawyer in the Corporate M&A team at Orange Clover in Amsterdam. He advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, corporate governance and commercial contracts, managed due diligence processes and negotiated transaction documentation. Since August 2026, Jelle has been with AMS Advocaten, where he is part of the Corporate Law section, advising clients on transactions as well as representing them in disputes.
