Gijs has been working as a litigation lawyer in Amsterdam since 2023, with a focus on commercial and corporate disputes.

He has extensive experience in advising and representing businesses in commercial disputes, including liability claims, termination of contracts, and disputes arising from acquisitions and investments (post-M&A). He also acts in corporate law matters, such as directors’ liability, shareholder conflicts, and deadlocked joint ventures. He guides clients from strategic advice through to litigation before the courts and on appeal.
