Elif obtained both her Bachelor’s degree in Law and her Master’s degree in Law (specialising in Private Law) from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. During her studies, she completed three internships at a small, medium-sized, and large law firm, respectively, where she gained valuable practical experience.

Specialisation

In January 2026, Elif taught Property Law at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. From October 2025 to April 2026, she worked as a legal assistant at a medium-sized law firm, where she was involved in a wide range of corporate law and insolvency law matters. Since June 2026, Elif has been associated with AMS Advocaten, where she works within the insolvency and restructuring practice. She will be admitted to the Dutch Bar on 17 June 2026.
