Kelly completed her Bachelor's degree in Law and Master's degree in Law (specialization in Private Law) at the Vrije Universiteit. She graduated with honors for both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees. During her studies, she gained experience by interning at two medium-sized law firms and working as a legal advisor at two legal aid centers.
