Manita Hamberg

Manita advises, negotiates and litigates on behalf of corporate clients on matters regarding Dutch corporate and contract law, IP, IT, media law and debt collection. Her practice focuses on commercial contracts, including services, distribution, agency, franchise and/or partnerships, as well as IP and IT issues, including copyrights, trademarks, trade names and domain names, licenses, software, data and privacy. Her clients are corporates in the area of commercial business, technology, fashion, retail, media and/or e-commerce. Manita’s work style is characterized by her strong client commitment, being a valuable sparring partner for the business with a practical and strong problem-solving approach.

Manita was admitted to the Dutch Bar in 2007. Before joining AMS Advocaten in 2014, she gained broad experience in a mid-sized law firm in Amsterdam. She holds a master’s degree in Dutch private law from the University of Groningen and successfully completed the Grotius specialized training program in National and International Contracting. Manita is also a member of DFA, the Dutch Association for Distribution, Franchises and Agencies, and BMM, the Benelux Association of Trademark and Design Law.

Besides Dutch, Manita speaks fluent English and German and is part of the German desk of AMS Advocaten.
