Gea specialises in Dutch liability law. In addition, Gea has broad experience in civil litigation, and negotiates and litigates in the fields of business law, contract law, attachment/seizure and enforcement law and debt collection. Gea appears before all courts in the Netherlands. She is noted for being hands-on and highly organized, and is driven by her passion for law and her commitment to clients.
Gea obtained her master’s degree in Dutch law from the University of Groningen and was admitted to the Dutch Bar in 2012. Before joining AMS Advocaten in 2017, she gained broad experience at a medium-sized law firm in Amsterdam. Gea also successfully completed the postgraduate study “Company & Liability” at the Grotius Academy.
In addition to her work, she is involved in several network organizations, is a language coach for refugees and an active member of the Amsterdam Young Bar Association.
Besides Dutch, Gea is fluent in English and Frisian.
